A couple weeks ago I visited a distillery in New Florence , MO…Wood Hat Spirits.

And so it continues.

The 5th Annual River City Whisky Society Christmas Party was a blast.

I have always been a fan of rye whiskey.

The October tasting of the River City Whisky Society was another great event.

So, I read the most recent issue of the Whiskey Advocate. There were reviews at the end and had a section about Bonded Whiskies.

Members only Night! We hold this event once a year so Mark and I can show our appreciation to our great members.

Monday evening, 6/30, I attended the “630 Day” event at Still 630 Distillery.

Last year about this time Bill, member #6, asked Mark and I to host a “Whisky 101” tasting for his friends. Apparently Mark and I did not completely screw it up so he invited us back again this year to host a bourbon tasting.

A couple weeks ago Mark (the other #1) and myself attended Whiskyfest Chicago. As was the last time we attended we found great whisky and great people.
