The 5th Annual River City Whisky Society Christmas Party was a blast. The party was originally scheduled for December but had to be postponed to January.
As a reminder, the rule for the party was that every member was to bring a bottle of whisky, some food and a few friends. About 80 whisky lovers were in attendance with great food whisky, great conversation and of course great whisky. And the weather cooperated for the cigar time.
Of the 35 + whiskies there, the two favorites were the Pappy Van Winkle 15 year old and the Aberlour 16 year old.
Tom Anderson of Pinkney Bend Distillery (New Haven, MO) was in attendance with several of their products. He spent quite a bit of time education folks on whisky and all the Pinkney Bend products. It was a great addition to the gathering.
