High-Dollar Night
High-Dollar night is always a great night. This is a once-a-year tasting for members only when we spend a few extra bucks to get high-end whiskies. This year we spent $2000.00 for six bottles tasted by 30 members.
Bottled-inBond
A couple weeks ago we held a Bottled-in-Bond tasting.
Catholics vs. Protestants?
The March 8th meeting/tasting of the River City Whisky Society a great turn-out with 36 folks attending. And with this meeting being so close to St. Patricks Day we went with an Irish Whiskey theme, of course. We actually took that a step further and did a comparison of finishes in Irish Whiskey.
Annual Christmas Party
RCWS tradition is to hold our annual Christmas Party in January. It gets us away from having to compete with company and family parties. This year we stuck with the tradition.
