     Several months back I was a at a scotch tasting at The Wine and Cheese Place that was hosted by Ed Kohl of Signatory.

     I love going into The Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton because I always find something new.  Today I found

     The RCWS had another round of tastings on Friday, April 9th, and what a night it was.  It was a beautiful St. Louis spring night and we tasted the scotches on my patio.  I am sure by the end of the night my neighbors were annoyed, but what the hell, this doesn’t happen often. 

It’s a sad day as I say goodbye to my friend Signatory Ledaig 15 year old.  A tear is shed….

     I wanted something different today, and as I looked over my more that 120 bottles I decided on Bruichladdich – Rocks. 

     While at Binny’s, Brett recommended Signatory Glen Elgin…aged 13 years in virgin oak barrels.
