As you can see in the sidebar, the River City Whisky Society has its own logo!!!

So, Robert (Member #5) called the other night. He said he wanted to swing by the house because he had a whiskey he wanted me to try. NOTE: My door is always open to friends with whiskey (insert laughter here).

Okay, so it’s been a while since we posted. The promise is to make this a more active site for out loyal readers. Both of them.

We had a great surprise at our last tasting. An unexpected visitor.

Day three began with a trip to the gym (believe it or not)

We started the second day of our Kentucky Bourbon Fest

We arrived in Bardstown (KY) on Wednesday evening and began our week with a tour of the Jim Beam Distillery.

I am writing to you from the 2010 Kentucky Bourbon Fest in Bardstown, KY.  

I like a variety of different whiskey offerings.

The last episode of “24” aired Monday night. My wife and I have been followers of the show since its second season and are sad to see the series come to an end. BUT….
