I purchased a bottle of Aberfeldy 12 year Highland last Sunday. I have given it a taste about four times, and my overall view is that it is a very nice sipping scotch. It’s flavor is not overpowering. Some might find it a bit too gentle, but I found it moderately assertive with gentle oak and spice. There is a firm smokey finish that shouldn’t scare away any scotch drinker. Its quality and moderate price ($39) should keep a bottle on my shelf.
