Review of Parker’s Heritage Collection

Posted by on February 4, 2012

This whiskey is 100 proof,  10year old,  Kentucky Straight Bourbon that has been put in a Grande Champagne Cognac cask to finishing its aging. They leave it there for about six months (the bottle is vague on exactly how long).

The nose is distinct. You can smell the cognac. And what a wonderful smell it is. When first drank it tastes like bourbon, but there is something about the finish that makes it different. Duh! Probably the cognac. It tastes a little creamy on the finish. A must try. The only draw back is the price…75$ a bottle.
