Another whiskey at our last tasting was The Irishman, 10 year old single malt Irish whiskey. This is a highly rated expression matured in both bourbon and sherry casks.
Our tasters made the following notes:
Nose: Sherry, Tropical fruit,
Taste: Smoky, Toasty, Hint of banana.
Finish: Smooth, Creamy.
Cost for this bottle is about $40 and well worth it.
