     I wanted something different today, and as I looked over my more that 120 bottles I decided on Bruichladdich – Rocks. 

     While at Binny’s, Brett recommended Signatory Glen Elgin…aged 13 years in virgin oak barrels. 

     Doug (the other #1) and I took our sons (Nick 15 and Michael 13 respectively) to Chicago during springbreak.  The trip was three fold: Food, Binny’s, and site seeing.

    This whisky is unique in that it is from the southern most whisky distillery in the world. It was distilled in Dunedin, New Zealand shortly after which the distillery was closed. The casks were later bought by the New Zealand Malt Whisky Company and bottled.
